Medical procedures are performed in a particular sequence to study and improve health conditions. Initially, when you visit your doctor, he/she will perform a general examination to learn about all the health related issues you are facing. A diagnostic test gives your physician a clear result about your health by studying about your blood, urine, or any other part of your body. Diagnosis is a vast concept that requires samples of the affected part of your system. Therefore, some tests require patients to give away a sample of their tissue, blood, urine, saliva, etc., so that it can be analyzed.
In a diagnostic center, according to your doctor's suggestion, tests are conducted over the sample provided. These, tests either look for pathogens or abnormal levels of certain components in your test samples. Other diagnostic tests evaluate other components of your body or part of your body. Learning about functions and components, a conclusion is written in a report format.
Lab assistants or your physician will explain test reports to you clearly. You can also clear your doubts regarding the same, if any comes up on your mind. Reports take minimum of half or a single day to arrive at your diagnostic center. You can either collect it from the center, ask them to send it to your residential address, or receive it on email; whichever is suitable to you.
