He has served for 33 years in the Indian Army, where he held several key positions, including Professor & Head of the ENT Department at Command Hospital (CC), Lucknow, and Senior Advisor & Head of Cochlear Implant Surgery at Army Hospital (R&R), New Delhi. Over his career, he has performed more than 150 cochlear implant surgeries and has mentored many ENT surgeons in this specialized field. His academic and clinical training includes fellowships in Otology, Endoscopic Lateral Skull Base Surgery, and specialized ENT fellowships in France and Chennai.
