What is Aldactone?

Aldactone is a medicine used for reducing elevated blood pressure and controlling it. This medicine prevents water retention in the body by balancing levels of sodium and potassium. Thus, the water content of blood reduces and normal blood pressure can be maintained. This principle helps in symptomatic treatment of many health disorders of the heart, kidneys, liver etc.

Composition of Aldactone:

Each 25 mg tablet of Aldactone is composed of Spironolactone, which is an aldosterone antagonist.
